Although named after a cop in Miami Vice, Rico Tubbs actually hails from the decidedly less sun kissed Finland. Its been pretty much a relentless onslaught of bass driven music right from the start on labels & channels like 3000bass, Certified, Chip Butty, DeepRot , Party Like Us, Saucy and of course at BASS=WIN his own joint venture with Atomic Hooligan.
Since the early releases of “Gangsters” and “Hip Rave Anthem” on Cheap Thrills it’s been nonstop touring with the likes of deadmau5, Fatboy Slim etc. and having played everywhere from L.A to Moscow to Sydney and London. Already winning “Electronic Music Dj Of The Year” twice in a row in his native Finland the calendar is always busy.
